I previously mentioned that I couldn’t make up my mind between two songs for my number 9 pick, so I decided that I’ll just post both of them up. This would be my other pick for numero nine.
“Pursuit of Happiness” - Kid Cudi
Just like “Someday,” this has an uplifting feel to it, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that Kid Cudi is a supreme lyricist. I thank my little bro, a master rapper himself, for introducing me to Cudi. Lyrics like his simply prove why there’s more than one Cudi song on my top ten list. Granted, there are a few ties here and there, but we won’t go there, except I kind of just did, but who cares anyway.
Five imaginary dollars goes to the tumblrer who guesses what the other Cudi song is…
